RE:FORM 2026 — International Student Furniture Competition

Design a compact piece of furniture that helps people living in small urban homes shift between work, rest, and social life. The proposal should respond to apartments under 40 square meters and demonstrate a thoughtful approach to material use, repair, and end-of-life.

Open to students and independent designers who graduated within the last five years. Individual and team entries of up to three people are accepted. There is no entry fee.

Submissions must include one A1 landscape presentation board (PDF, maximum 15 MB), three high-resolution JPG renders, one exploded axonometric drawing, and a 150-word concept statement in English. Optional: a 30-second assembly animation.

The jury will assess originality (30%), usefulness in real small-space routines (25%), environmental responsibility (20%), feasibility (15%), and visual communication (10%). Avoid solutions that rely on custom electronics or permanent wall installation.

Deadline: October 18, 2026 at 23:59 CET. Shortlisted designers will be invited to prototype for an exhibition in Copenhagen.
